Cabir worm pretends to be Flash Lite...

If you own a Symbian cellphone and if you're interested in Macromedias Flash Lite player, watch out! There is a .SIS-file around (the Symbian installer format) which pretends to be the Flash Lite player but which contains the Cabir worm for Symbian... This is ugly, so be careful. T-Mobile UK started a news push service called News Express. The interesting fact about that is that it's based on the FlashLite player for Symbian cell phones like the Nokia 3650, 7610, 6600 etc or some other Symbian based devices. User Group mal anders...

Ähhhmm, ich bewege mich ja auch ein wenig im PDA-Umfeld - da gibt es auch User Groups. So bin ich mehr oder weniger regelmäßig als Teilnehmer bei Treffen der PocketPC User Group Ruhr in Mülheim zu finden...

Das habe ich aber auch noch nicht gesehen: Die PocketPC User Group Münster/Osnabrück schnappt sich ein Flugzeug und hält ihr nächstes Treffen im Mai auf einer Ostfriesischen Insel ab... Ähh?!? :-)

So, nachdem wir nun ausgiebig Spass mit der UMTS-Datenkarte von Vodafone hatten, sind nun bei den deutschen Netzbetreibern die ersten Handy-Endgeräte angekommen. Wir haben im Büro jetzt eine UMTS-Datenkarte von Vodafone. Eine dieser "unauffällig" gebrandeten PCMCIA-Einschubkarten, mit denen das Notebook an der Seite so richtig knallig rot leuchtet.
