New Flash Player penetration stats!

This is interesting - the newest stats for the Flash Player penetration are out. Flash Player 9 is now significantly above the 90% threshold which is awesome!

New Flex showcase site

At some point during the night, the new Flex showcase site was pushed live. It's available on the old URL (http://flex.org/showcase/), but it's completely revamped and a a Flex application sitting on top of a Drupal PHP backend. Ajax/Flex Data Loading Benchmark

Just one brief pointer to a blog post you should NOT miss. James Ward has published a benchmark application comparing different ways of loading data into Rich Client Applications. I've already seen this application in its very early stages a while ago, so I'm even more happy that James published it now! Great work!
