I finally got the mark for my masters thesis in computer science (some of you might know that I'm doing my masters studies besides my daily work): got a 1.3 (for the non-Germans - on a scale beginning with 1.0 being the best one and ending up with 4.0 or "failed"). So - got a quite good day ;-)
It's a 222-paged study on the theory and concepts of web-based and rich internet applications on application server technologies. The German title is
which means something like "Thoughts on software and system architectures for web and rich client applications based on application servers" in English. Why I mention that here: Besides a lot of conceptual work, there are many links to Macromedia technology contained.
So - if anyone is interested in what I tried to create in the thesis, the link somewhere above gives you the table of contents and the introduction. Both is in German - sorry English folks. If there are requests, I'll be happy to provide you with a 10-15-paged English summary of the thesis. If someone would like to get the whole document, don't hesitate to contact me via email and we might be able to work something out for you.

Good on ya! Got the same mark for my thesis, but the number of pages would have annoyed my prof :-) Would also like to have a look at it, at least at the english summary! If you send it to the guys who posted above let me have a copy too!!

Hmm, definitely stretching my German comprehensive (haven't had much cause to read German since my A-levels in '79!) but I'd love to read the whole thing if possible. I'd certainly be interested in an English summary too. And *CONGRATULATIONS* on such a high mark!!

Hey.. I need some help/advice from you. I am in Netherlands and am currently doing my MBA Master thesis on "Business Impact of Rich Internet Applications" .. I feel a bit lost in my topic now. When you did your thesis, did you come across any issues which you thought could be looked at from a business (non-technical) point of view?..Any suggestions as to what I could add to my thesis would be greatly appreciated..Any sort of research that I could do which an IT Manager would find useful to read....
